The Elevator Boot in our basement carried grain up into the head house above us for milling. Today it sits quiet but not forgotten. This beer is in honor of all the work it did over the decades, now bringing Rye, Barley, and Wheat to your glass in the form of a Pale Ale positively dripping with beautifully fruity Michigan Chinook Hops.
Inspired by German Chocolate Cake, we brewed an Imperial Pastry Stout, infused it with Cocoa Nibs, Toasted Coconut, & Fair Trade Vanilla, but that wasn’t enough… we blended in some of our classic Big Balls Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Oatmeal Stout. The result is… dessert!
Bright and Juicy, this Hazy Double IPA is deceptively smooth at 8% abv. It has low Bitterness but a big hop presence from heavy late boil and dry hop additions. Saturated with citrus, peach, and tropical notes, and that classic New England Glo.
This delightful Wheat Ale was lightly soured in the kettle before being boiled and hopped, fermented with out house yeast, then dosed with a tremendous amount of Blueberries before refermentation. The result is fresh, juicy, and just as tart as a handful of Blueberries straight off the bush.
Referred to as a “Standard Bitter” in the UK, this copper-colored ale is the original Session Beer, packing a lot of flavor into an easy-drinking pink. The style’s name is misleading – it isn’t bitter for an American Beer, showcasing instead the malt, with a balancing dose of Floral English Hops.
This classic Lager was brewed with Heirloom Hana Barley, the same variety famous for creating the Bohemian Pilsner back in 1842. A traditional multi-step mash brings out a rich Malt character while maintaining a light body and crisp finish. Czech Saaz Hops provide a balanced bitterness and a light floral aroma.
A fresh and fruity Wheat Ale that’s been dry-hopped with Amarillo for a refreshing, clean citrus finish without all the hop bitterness. Perfect to quaff in sunny weather.
Our Stout is bold from start to finish with flavors of bittersweet chocolate and licorice, finishing with a hint of coffee. Lots of Oatmeal in the mash gives this beer an incredibly rich mouthfeel.
Our American-style IPA features a clean, bready malt backbone with a crisp, citrus and floral hop taste and aroma. This beer is hop-forward, bitter, and very refreshing.
Our lightest and most easy-drinking offering is brewed with lots of Maize for a light, cereal grain flavor and a smooth body, with just a touch of noble Saaz Hops.
